Whether you develop an application to be used in a closed environment or a website, chances are that at some point your users will need to enter information such as the country, state and city they come from. And if you've ever asked those users to type that information in a field, you probably found out that your database was quickly filled with many name variants (for instance, "Washington", "washington, d.c.", "WASHINGTON D.C.", "Washington DC", etc...) as well as misspelled names.
That's where our cities database comes into play. All you need is to pre-populate dropdown lists with the countries, states and cities and your users will just have to select the correct names.
And it is very easy to import our data into MySQL or any other database!
